About our Hawaii Student ALA Chapter
Aloha, the ALA-sc welcomes you to our UH Manoa LIS program! Our student chapter is committed to celebrating and promoting the library and information science profession. Our members plan events and activities that encourage professional development, service to the library community, fundraising, socializing,and networking. We also circulate a monthly newsletter containing timely information about our LIS program and upcoming events. We are always looking for new members and new perspectives, and we invite you to bring your skills, energy, and enthusiasm to our student chapter!
